Our canvas prints are printed on a heavyweight 100%  pure cotton canvas giving enhanced image quality and excellent framing stability. After we have printed the canvas and allowed time for the inks to dry, the canvas is then hand stretched onto stretcher bars and stapled at the rear ready for hanging.

For the larger sized canvas prints we use stretcher bars that have cross bars inserted, helping to support the canvas and help prevent the frame from twisting. Having mounted the canvas print onto the stretcher bars some people coat the canvas with a water based matte varnish to enhance and protect the finish. Our canvas prints are light fast for 75 years and we use a type of canvas that is waterproof and fire retardant.

As a finishing touch, we then overlay the staples on the back of the stretcher bars with framing tape in order to protect the wall surface where the canvas print is to be hung.
